Haiku Poems

                                                      Haiku Poems             by: Canaan Araujo

River
Early morning dew
The soft patter of raindrops
Form a river that rushes by

Eyes
Hard or sometimes gentle
Blue, brown, or green
Have deep meaning vainly hidden but spirited just the same

Surfing
Gliding on light colors of water
Balancing in perfection with grace
Bask in the crowds wild praise

Flowers
The rose is red, a symbol of blood
The tulip is pink, a symbol of bashfulness
The hibiscus, a symbol of life
